on the outskirts of Otavalo, Pinsaqui offers accommodations in an
18th century hacienda with spectacular views of the Imbarura Volcano.
This historic hotel, originally a textile workshop, has hosted such
illustrious guests as Simon Boliviar, and has been the site of important
events in Ecuador's history. The hacienda features 16 luxuriously
appointed suites with fireplaces and some with Jacuzzi. The restaurant
serves excellent Ecuadorian and international cuisine, and there
is also a snack bar and room service. The natural gardens, reading
room with fireplace, and chapel all add to the charm and tranquility
